The question that everyone is asking this morning (besides "How do I get a Beyonce hologram machine?") pertains to the controversial no-call on San Francisco's 4th-and-Goal play late in the fourth quarter.
On the play, it appeared that Ravens DB Jimmy Smith may have held 49ers WR Michael Crabtree, which didn't allow him to catch a quick pass from Colin Kaepernick, who was facing a well-timed blitz. Take another look:
My view? It was a clear hold. Smith was still grabbing Crabtree well after the first five yards. Jim Harbaugh obviously agreed. While it a tough call to make, seeing as how it essentially decides the Super Bowl, it is a call that you have to make.
Yes, the 49ers blew many chances to win that game, and they didn't lose because of that no-call. However, none of that changes the fact that the flag should've been thrown, providing the 49ers another opportunity.
