If this had been any other team, it probably wouldn't have made the national news.  It would have been a blip on the cralwer during sports center, but because it was the Pacers involved in the frackus, it's been blown out of proportion.  Something similar to this incident invovling Lee, Hibbert, West and Curry happens every few weeks in the NBA. When you've got big guys bumping each other around for 48 minutes at a time, tempers are bound to flare up, and shoves and wrestling may occur.  No big deal.  No punches were thrown, nobody got hurt.  

Unfortunately, because the Pacers are involved, it brings back memories of one of the biggest black eyes in NBA history.  The NBA office is going to do everything they can to show that they are "proactive" in making sure nothing like that happens again so they'll over react and suspend Hibbert, and probably Lee for a few games.  Hopefully they won't go too far and extend that suspension to West as well.  

But take a look for yourself.  Hibbert is reacting to Lee with the first shove.  Then he is "attacked" by Curry, whom Hibbert casually tosses to the side, before attacking him again.

The good news is that its forcing the national media to talk about the Blue and Gold for once.
